Locks and KeysA Poem by JennesisThis is been running through my brain for a couple weeks and I think it finally fell together this morning.
The lock of her
Soul is set In perfect contentment Every notch and ridge Perfectly sequenced And bridged She's complete and oiled Ready to open The lock of her soul Has been Adjusted The dials and combinations Tweaked and set To just the right range No longer needing To change For another She's one of a kind And is looking to find A key that fits Without sharp edges Or a missing nitch She's been smoothed by life's experiences Not willing to accept an Ill fitting key His was only an ignition key, you see That started her locked up engine Accelerating her into completion He may have been the ignition But the car is hers He allowed her to find The top of her speed limit She pushed the pedal The rest of the way To the locksmith But his key didn't fit Any where else No more imitations She has no limitations She can honestly see He who holds the key Will be just like me Complete, content Perfectly sequenced And ridged, notches smooth Walking the walk Not willing to accept An ill fitting lock © 2015 JennesisReviews
