Orchestrated FlowA Poem by JennesisThis was initially silly banter going back and forth via text messages between Rico X and I, so we decided to put it together...
She was dripping with anticipation
Could this be the day That she eases his fears away? Legs intertwined with covers She was pale like the sheets on the bed She needed some rays desperately She was dreaming of sugarplums She strummed Her cello in A minor Waiting for him to join the orchestra And conduct the symphony Her soul longed for She needs a conductor For her music Not trusting her own sound She waits for his harmony To synthesize with her melody Open to direction and cues The notes written on the staff Begin to emerge in a new way His the bass clef Hers the treble Trembles as they joined together Cymbals are on alert Waiting Anticipating Ready to proclaim that the pain is over He refrains from now Because that which is lost Shall be found? The tempo slows Because he knows The tension building Hope of freedom From his pain Is a repeating chorus The fear enormous For now her strings Stretched tight lingerings From her bow Play a lonely tune The sheet music protects his soul From being played in the wrong key Or sequence It makes sense why Musicians fail to get the cords right Sharp notes Flat tones Backward drones His ears Hears Dissonance in the innocence The music stopped playing The orchestra is now silent She rises from her musical trance Trying to figure out How this music Got in between her thighs © 2015 Jennesis |
