Safe My Space I look around and see them The birds Freedom wings As I stepped off the cliff As I leaped with faith Believing That I wouldn't fall That my wings That their wings Would carry me Safely To where I am supposed to land I was caged And these wings were made For flying Not hiding I need to clear space For landing And nesting For my rebirth I've been squeezing through The chrysalis Breaking though Painful Lonely Strengthening This soaring and awakening I am ready for my becoming For my flights landing Securely Home © 2014 JennesisAuthor's Note
