Secret Regrets

Have you ever had such a big regret that you feel it's necessary to be shot? I do.

She has one secret regret,

That she will take to her grave.

Her mind is set,

And she is greatly ashamed.

 

She confesses silenced words

Into the cold, dead night.

Her confessions unheard,

She will keep her lips tight.

 

She hates herself for what she has done,

Her thoughts filled with self hate.

She wants to hold a gun to her head,

But for her regret, this feeling is her fate.
