![]() Toxic WasteA Poem by Jen![]() the feeling of being replaced is not a good one.![]() She feels like she is being replaced As her mouth fills with certain distaste She thought she had rid it of her life But now, it was coming back with a bigger, sharper knife
Her mind said to run, and so she ran Her heart said woman, her mind said man She is confused beyond belief And she is waiting for her relief
Toxicity follows her as she runs Capturing her friends, her family, and even the nuns She is being replaced By a toxic pool of waste
Useless as she feels And as her strength begins to peel She waits for a hero Her patience ever close to zero
She is being replaced By a toxic pool of waste She thought she had rid it of her life But now, it was coming back with a bigger, sharper knife. © 2010 JenAuthor's Note
