Inner Demons Don't Play Well With Angels

This is kind of like a song, again about my struggles with anxiety. They say I'm happy and pure, but I don't feel like it...

When she was born

The heavens spoke that day

She was beautiful and kind

Perfect in every way

But she has something inside

Something shameful she has to hide

It's the demons, they show in her eyes

They fill her head with sick, cruel lies

She's an angel, she's beauty and grace

But her inner demons just won't go away

Angels don't give up on her

It's the demons they just keep fighting

But please, hear my prayer

Life is pain, life's not fair

These demons make her wish for death

These demons play and laugh and yell

These demons grow and attack and hate

These demons send an angel to hell

She's an angel, she's beauty and grace

She screams, she cries, she begs forgiveness

Heavens above, save her from this

A perfect little angel, happy and free

Torn apart in pieces, ripped maniacally

This is a very well made poem. And I certainly feel that there is a blurred line between the angel and the speaker. It's a perfect narrative and story.
