The Artistic Kind Of Love

The Artistic Kind Of Love

A Poem by Jenna Kay

Your lips were yellow
And mine were burning red
And when we kissed, we painted a golden orange sunset with our passion
Creating blush pink clouds upon our cheeks
And rainbows when we cried
And as dusk settled upon us, we escaped into our sunset
Where the colors were much brighter than any reality we had run away from
Where the brush of your lips was always enough to paint the canvas of my heart

This is beautiful, it reminds me of some of my old poems I used to write. I love the yellow and red lips. I love the blush pink clouds, that really caught me. its simply beautiful.
