Summer and Winter, A Love Story

Summer and Winter, A Love Story

A Poem by Jenna Kay

From across the divide, Summer, in all of her golden radiance, reached out to Winter
But as the crystalized Winter reached back, her fingers began to burn,
While Summer's were frostbitten blue
Each in turn pulled back from one another
Gazing at each others beauty from afar
And wishing in the corners of their hearts that they could be everything that destroyed them

Amazing use of words and thoughts.
"Gazing at each others beauty from afar
And wishing in the corners of their hearts that they could be everything that destroyed them"
You said everything that was needed. I liked the above lines a lot. Life is holding tightly to the good days and releasing the bad ones. Thank you Jenna for sharing the excellent poetry.
