What I'm Proud Of

I said yes to living
I say yes everyday
Through all this pain and confusion, somehow I am still making my way through the world
Every morning I think how much easier it would be to stay there, drifting deep into the dreams of a fake reality
Who wouldn't, when you wake up into your nightmare
I, like many, bare the weight of living everyday
Finding darkness when I open my eyes and only finding light again when I shut them
It's so hard to stay
But I'm starting to realize
That's okay
