Trust Issues

Trust Issues

A Poem by Jenna Harding

                               Trust Issues

Stone shattered by the invading one man army.

Late night, small hour confessions

Mere ammunition for the agenda now.

Evidence of feigned closeness, at least on one side,

Presented before judge and jury.

The prosecution presents a good case,

But the condemned escapes

Sans punishment.

Though not scott free,

If the victim has her say.
