Broken DreamsA Poem by Jenna HardingBroken Dreams Collapsing, crumbling, crashing down around your ears. Suggestions and words flung at you, Water balloons catapulted from Sling shot tongues. You sink and drown under their weight As they seep through your skin into your soul and subconscious, Resurfacing to plague you in the Dark. The pressure builds, compressing and suffocating you. Until you implode. © 2008 Jenna Harding |
