Losing HerselfA Poem by Jenna HardingAnother dark one, sorryLosing Herself Crystal eyes, once warm, Now iceburgs replace them. Pretty mouth, corners once upturned with smiles, Now flatlines across her face. Oceans and rivers wept already, Too empty to cry anymore. Sadness shadows her constantly But no one sees her shredded soul. Each day she dies a little more, Soon there will be nothing left. © 2008 Jenna Harding |
