I'm Done

I'm Done

A Poem by Jenna Harding

                               I'm Done

Reach into my chest and rip out my heart.

Fix it again just to watch it break.

Your masochistic self righteousness

Seeps out from your soul.

Tenderness is not part of your nature.

I will not be released til I've cried thee a river.

But, no more tears will I sacrifice

At your alter.

This river just dried up.

This is really good. I love the way you've expressed anger in a way that feels sad as well. It really hits you in the feels. Excellent job. :)
