Bored Observation

Bored Observation

A Poem by Jenna Harding
"

Does exactly what it says on the tin

"

                            Bored Observation

Vibrations.

Every movement of pen on page makes a ripple.

Shimmering, reflecting rainbows

From all angles.

Droplets cling opposite, defying gravity.

Light from above glances off the smooth container,

Distorted shapes on the shiny surface.

A yellow disk, the sun, bars the path

Of nature's mirror, stops it moving on.

Flowing free.
