VisitationsA Poem by Jenna HardingWritten the same day as 'Unrequited'. I was in a bit of a melancholy moodVisitations Appiritions of those gone before Surround me in my time of need. They watch, unmoving, always silent, As my soul begins to bleed.
Familiar faces that offer no smiles, Just stand and stare at me. If only they would offer a hand, I could take it and be free.
I'd fly with them across the moon And to some distant plane. To reside there for all eternity Escaping from this pain.
But no hands come to aid me, None seem to hear my call. I close my eyes, they fade to black And I begin to fall. © 2008 Jenna HardingReviews
