Trying to speak, Speak up against the crowd. Wriggling my way through, Through the large crowds. So many people, Too many people Too many voices To hear my small voice I keep trying to speak Just let me SPEAK!!!
This poem makes me think of individuality, and how it is so hard to maintain in the type of society we live in today. I'm sure everybody can relate to this feeling, wanting to speak and be heard. Like this write.
Speaking has it benefits, but just standing and listening does as well. Learning when to speak and when to listen is the hard part and speaking in a crowd takes effort and courage. Good poem.
whoa, like the rage here -- even though the poem's short, you can feel it building up to the end. as someone who's extremely shy in RL, this is a feeling i can definitely sympathize with... :(
Its like a cry for help but it can not be heard. A lot of people can relate to this poem such as when someone is being a victim of abuse they cry for help but nobody listens
Wow, I know that feeling. There's so many people around, getting their chance to speak up but when you finally want to, you never get to because their voice is so overpowering that they just keep going. Reminds me of a certain group at our school, in our grade...I know you know who I'm talking about. Anyways, good job Jenna Bear.
A very familiar feeling. Bogged down by the people around us. In spite of all the effort put in, there's no guarantee that one's voice would be heard and the person noticed. It's a rat race out there. Well phrased!
I'm a writer, I'm a painter, I'm an artist. :) I love the arts (even music, though I can't actually make beautiful songs). Painting and writing keeps me sane in this crazy world! more..
