She feels a sudden presence.
Behind her.
The warm whisper of its breath.
It caresses her skin like invisible silk.
Her body froze.
The blood in her veins run cold.
As she turns around,
she faces a smirk.
A mask.
And also an unseen frown.
In its transparent eyes.
Questioning her own presence.
Its voice,
like an ordinary mortal's.
But it feels razor sharp.
Cold.
Like the ice that never melts.
Its eyes.
Transparent. Vacant.
With a kind of darkness.
Lurking within.

Within seconds.
She ran.
She had to.
To escape.
The escape the beast.
Who was hunting her down.

I know it sounds incomplete, but I was kinda going for the 'suspense' feel for it.
I'm weird like that. xp

Well done again with this suspense filled write and read. Good flow and timing with deftly painted touches of horror and description of the beast. The fear factor can really be felt here.

I felt hunted reading this, and somewhat stalked...but wasn't that the point? lol

You are gifted sweetie. Keep on penning.
