SearchingA Poem by JeneenessHe seriously has no idea how I feel, neither of us can do anything about it, and it doesn't look like this trend, the feeling and helplessness, will stop anytime soon.No matter how much she tries to avoid the cause,
her heart continues to ache. Heartache draping limp over every move she does or doesn't make. She searches for the right solution, as the weight of indecision on her back becomes too much. Her search resumes in a crawl, for she refuses to stop until she finds the light, or anything at all. What she is searching for is hard to explain. She has her eye on the prize, but the prize is clouded all in the same. As the prize comes close, the light blinds her eyes. She is unable to see how to get to her prize, She takes too long to find her way. Along with the light, her prize fades away. © 2010 Jeneeness |
