Secret Love Note

Secret Love Note

A Poem by Jen Marie
"

not really a poem, but instead the product of boredom in class.

"

Dear reader and recipient of my secret love note,

I am writing you a secret love note to inform you that I am in love with you (secretly). I think (secretly) that your eyes are something romantic sounding and your smile makes me (secretly) want to throw myself in worship at your feet. I feel (secretly) that my love for you extends to the very depths of my pancreas that twitches (secretly) every time you are near me. I long (secretly) to be next to you because that’s what admirers like me long to do (secretly). I want to (secretly) smell your pheromones as they excrete from your very being in the sweet essence that is strictly yours.

I hope (secretly) that you are taken away by my secret love note and that you too (secretly) love me too. I want (secretly) to have a fairy tale ending with a white horse and a fading sunset, and I can think (secretly) of no better person to play the part of my too good to be true prince.

Signed,

Your (secret) overly desperate (secret) admirer

This is good. Just because it doesn't conform to a standard in poetry doesn't mean you can't call it a poem. I get a little love overload from this, but I think that is kinda the point.

Also, is this from Thea to Andrew?
