On a canvasA Poem by Jen_ma_catOn a canvas I stroke the paper with warmth My heart skips a beat at the glances we exchange Always looking away first But slowly turning once more Your eyes Moving my wrist Creating slow strokes Then fast Warm colors Then cold Mimicking my unsteady heart I feel like a child Well, I am one Playing these games of close And near Glance Or not On a canvas This fluid outburst of emotions Pour into the only thing I know I try to captivate my heart In this state The state Of love?
