When I see you nextA Poem by Jen_ma_catWhen I see you next Will you please hug me? The way you always do Devouring my small self And your hand against the back of my head Ruffling my hair And I, smelling your heavily masked cologne When I see you next Will you please tell me everything, Is okay again? That the nights spent staining my pillow in salts, Are over And the day I spent alone will blur away Only as a memory When I see you next Will you please hold my hand all the way home? Engulfing it into your Protecting me from harms way Shoulder grazing and faces turned away Blushed red When I see you next Can we please be the same as before? Even though we both are different from before Even if it's not possible? Can you please come see me?
