As time moves onA Poem by Jen_ma_catA girl and her life.
Do you remember when we were seven and you dared me to jump off the swings from the highest point I could swing?
And when I did I scraped my knee and cried, but you brought me home and covered it in a band-aid
Or that time when I taught you how to play hopscotch and laughed so hard until I turned beat red Remember when we use to have play dates and sleepovers? And I would get scared and sneak into your sleeping bag, you never got mad at me for waking you up Waking up in morning to pancakes and morning cartoons Remember when we use to walk home from school everyday and jump into every puddle before we got home? Or that time we ran to my house in the rain, completely soaked Do you remember that time in middle school when we made that volcano for the science fair, and won second place? We cried together Do you remember that rainy day? Under your cherry red umbrella When You Kissed Me How about that field trip to the zoo? When you held my hand the entire trip. How about when you would look at me from the other lunch table and your friends would catch you staring, then laugh and make fun of you It was silly, we were silly, the world was silly And as time moves on we became stronger © 2015 Jen_ma_catAuthor's Note

Am I ready? Ha, no. I don't post often, only when I feel inspired. I'm 16 years old and I might be the only 16 year old on the planet who wishes they weren't. I like art.. more..Writing
