Garden Sunlight

Garden Sunlight

A Poem by Jen

In the morning light you stand
Sunlight dances off bronzed shoulders
Hoe in one hand, steaming coffee in other

Flowers beckoning our attention
Sunlight dancing off rose dew
Shrubs awaiting our shears

In the sunlight you adorn our garden
Sunlight dances off fresh turned soil
Together our hands refresh wilting pedals

Trees swayed by morning breeze
Sunlight dances off my heart
Moments shared with you
dancing in our garden's sunlight

This might not be the most articulate piece I've read but it certainly is one of the most sincere. Keep writing, Jen.

You're welcome.
Seeds of inspiration planted,
buds of expression breaking the surface,
delicate words blossoming in your sensual garden.
Nice poem, dear Jen.
