Held Together

Held Together

A Poem by Jen

Your fingers delicate praise
 slightly awakens my soul
as you swept from my face
a lost strand of mane

Brought back further
from the lands of twilight
by the softest touch of your caresses
through tossed raven locks

 I'm there now
awaken by your warm
kiss upon lips
Gazing at you through the dark
Gentleness is your manner
as you pull my passive form
tightly... held together

Our embrace closer then love making
 Existing there...held together
We  float in silence
Motionless upon glistening stars
Setting sail back towards the milky way
 never to part again...held together

This is very romantic writing. Love, safety and need lurk between the lines.

Nicely done Jen.

Relic.

Thank you!
Another gentle song of silence from the gentle soul of a sensitive artist.
