You Never Held Me

You Never Held Me

A Poem by Jen

I have never looked into your eyes

Your arms never held me

My lips have never tasted your love

We never strolled hand in hand

gazing through store windows

Your arms never held me

Your lips have never felt

my wet warmth dripping from them

You have never gazed at me in bare skin

under a moon lit night

Your arms have never held me

We have never felt our loves climax

I have never felt your soft breath on my ear

as you whisper your secrets

Your arms never held me

We've never met

words our only a bridge to one another

Thank you for your review, you are correct, some love is unattainable.
Full of the loneliness and longing found on the other side of your Muse.
A beautifully sad creation, dear Jen. Thank you for sharing the sorrow.
