Smolder

Smolder

A Poem by Jen

Scented air is thick with nectar

Lips gently tinted dripping of dew

Pedals laid in perfection upon wicked flesh

Soft glowing moonlight caresses bare shoulders

It smolders awaiting a kiss

Moments pass as the dew dries

The tint fades

Pedals wilt

Darkness shadows bare skin

The smolder gone like the kiss

A sensual beginning becomes a sorrowed end.
A lovely poem that describes the course of many smoldering liaisons. Another dear creation, Jen.
