Very creative, Jennie. A little bit of Yes, some Journey, and a few more for good measure. This is wonderful way to showcase your love of music, and of the written word as it pertains to poetic expressionism.

It even seems to appeal to those who aren't familiar with the band (whose music is admittedly a little esoteric and maybe an acquired taste).
This is probably the first poem iv read since the first grade, glad to say i loved it!

I think this is really good, and does not feel forced at all, like some poems of this type might be. I would, however, in terms of form, change the parentheses to italics.

Actually, the contest required the song titles to be in parentheses (typically song titles are in quote marks and album titles in italics.)
