Part I:Before I wake, If I Should WakeA Poem by Jellyfish_PrincessPart one a my poem trilogy.
You'll kiss me dead before I wake
But that I suppose is the road you should take. Embrace me tightly and my throat will close Don't worry, I'm not upset because I'm the one you chose. Hold your breathe so you can suffocate The lies that you've told and our bitter fate. Don't let go until the lights leave my eyes And please don't let my death cause you to cry. Pick me up and start for my coffin When you see my pale corpse don't let your eyes soften. Now close your eyes and pretend for your sake That you won't kiss me dead Before I Wake If indeed I Should Be Meant To Wake. © 2013 Jellyfish_Princess |
