Just something that came to mind this lovely night.
And quite randomly, I might add.
Oh, and boomerangs are supposed to always come back to you, but they don't always do just that.
I had one when I was younger and I could never get it to come back to me.
Like anything, you have to work at it.
You have to really want it.

Definitely a special creation you have here with a special message as well :) The format alone is uniquely imaginative. I have never seen the boomerang used in a poem before. What makes the boomerang so special is how it is applied to beliefs. Like you say, the boomerang doesn't always come back, so once you let them go, they may never return. Or, maybe they return again and haunt you. I guess it depends on how a person views beliefs, and on how a person defines beliefs. This is a brilliant poem, Raye! And, very fun to read! Much love to you....
Really liked this. Love the "boomerang" affect, it did work out very well. I have never seen this style of writing before, it couldn''t have been easy to do. What you say is so very true, once you lose "something" it is not so easily found again if it ever is. Great job Raye. ;)
I love this! Very creative! Your writing and artistic skills truly shine here :)
I believe your boomerang to be karma.. something I live by. And when I slip...bam! lol
Wonderful message and so beautifully conveyed! Bravo!
Nice colors Raye! This is very unusual in format, which is always a pleasant surprise for me. The content is very wise and to the point...it is not 'just' something...it is extrmely powerful in message...Hold tight to your good thoughts.
You go you good thing :-)
Cheers,
Helen xx

At first, this struck me as a bit strange, because the format and the content of the poem don't seem to match. But it makes sense, now that I really think about it. I like this poem a lot. The format is a really cool idea, and the poem itself is pretty awesome. Good work. ^_^
Just a lover of words--
A poet of sorts...
A soul, who knows what it's like--
To lose.
I'll be nineteen soon, and I've been doing recreational writing for about eight years now, though I was discoura.. more..
