Replaced

Replaced

A Poem by The Autumn Faerie
"

Exactly what it says.

"

He says
we mean the same to him.
He says
we fill the same space.

But I cannot begin to believe,
how quickly he could replace--

The laughter,
the tears,
the love,
and the fears,
from all those years…

He says
we mean the same to him.
He says
 we fill the same space.

But I cannot begin to believe,
how quickly I was replaced.

You may have been experimenting, but what you've captured here is beyond reproach. The words evoke feeling from anyone who reads this; it's something that everyone can relate to whether they would like to admit it or not. It's hard to write about something so personal, so raw, but I think you've done a wonderful job and I wanted to thank you for sharing it..

Love is a strange thing. Some can love many. Some only one. It is hard to comprehend no matter the orientation. Well versed poem. Liked it.
