Time

Time

A Poem by JelenaM

Time
Precious time
Always runs out of our hands
All the time
Until we don't find ourselves
In the edge
Of time

Life
Cry in the crib
Song on the wedding
A silent breath at the end of everything
Mortal kingdom
The hourglass with no turn
The April fairs, late autumn wisdom
All our wrinkles " the lessons learned
During life

Love
So wanted, never found
Love so sweet
In spite of its bitterness
I still hope
I still believe
The days may pass
But I'll still wait on it
On love

Pride
Crushing pride
Let the roots in our mind
Stupid pride
The most we've lost standing high
During the fall, we watched the skies
But only got regrets and broken smiles
By pride

Pain
That we felt
But we'll never see
So much we wanted to be
Time passes with people in it
But we stay here
With pain

All
What we have is never enough
All
What we want is more and more
And soon all will be forever gone
With time

Forgiveness
There is still time for
Forgiveness
To give and to ask
When we put aside the mask
The sand will stop to flow
Leaving us the time to say:
'' I'm sorry. ''

Death
Comes as a deserved rest
When you least expect
To end your time
Death
Comes as the never-ending ride
Through the serpentine paths of time
To begin your time
After life
