Go for a Walk

Go for a Walk

A Poem by Jesse Hayworth

I go for a walk

trying to clear my head

but she's all I think about

and my cheeks turn red

Wildly, the thoughts ran

seeing stars and little tweeites

I'm trying to be a man

I even ate my Wheaties

A battle in my mind

it's got my head spinning

she's so damn fine

I think she may be winning

It's one I'm down to lose

still, I'm trying to be competitive

ya, she's the one I choose

but now I'm being repetitive
