She's Beautiful

She's Beautiful

A Poem by Jeff

She's never been beautiful

To any other man

I find that hard to believe

But it's the truth

It's an uneasy truth

How could these other men

Not see the beauty

That stands before me

What do I see differently

It's a question without an answer

Without one I'll ever attain

How could they not see

The shining light in her eyes

The infectious laugh

The smile that warms my soul

The warmth in her heart

The way she kisses my lips

I do count my blessings

She's with me

From this day on and forever

She's beautiful

She's wonderful

She means the world to me

I lived so long without her

I can't see living anymore without her

I'm the lucky one

Who gets to bask in her beauty

i'm glad you ran out of the house so you don't see me sobbing like a baby. we'll have to agree that we're both lucky. you are an amazing man. and i can't wait to be with you...forever.
