Laying Here

Laying Here

A Poem by Jeff

Your scent lingers on my pillow

I take it in as I lay to sleep

Your kiss rests on my lips

As I lay here thinking of you

You lay next to me

As my eyes close

You may not be here

But you are in my soul

This is cute, short, simple, and enlessly sweet :)
I hate that feeling though...when you really love someone, and you've gotten a big dose of their love, but they left a long time ago...so all that you're left with...is the ghost of their precense.
:/
Great piece! :D

Its amazing how the essense of someone we love stays with us, even after they've left. Terrific poem,Jeff!
