Baby Boy

Baby Boy

A Poem by Jeff

Baby boy

I'm grateful that you're here

I hope I can be the father

You need me to be

I put your mother through so much

I hurt her more times than I care to know

But she knows that you'll always be there

When she needs you most

What do I owe you

Baby boy

What can I do for you

Baby boy

I remember when you were born

I was so worried about you

I'm so glad I didn't run

You blessed me with your saving grace

Baby boy

I'll give you the world

Baby boy

I'm forever grateful to you

I felt like I wanted to sing while reading the poem :D this is nice Jeff, very nice indeed! Baby boy is so lucky to have you as his dad, and you are in luck to have him in your life :) Always be a good father!

I could sense a music flowing through your words, much like a lullaby... soft and tender and loving. Your poem is hopeful and honest...
