From being so low

When I see your smile

You pull me in

Your ocean

Filling me with emotion

That I long ago

Thought I'd lost

Grass is growing

From the cracks

As you whisper

My name in my ear

Tickling my insides

I didn't even realize

You had the vibe

That lit my fire

And spun my world

Around your Sun

Until it was too late

Now I can't sleep late

I can't think straight

That's alright

Truly a fantastic piece of work. It has such a good rhythm to it. You can move seamlessly through the entire poem without encountering any odd phrases or words. A solid last two lines as well, perhaps my favorite of the entire poem. Feel like I've seen it before, maybe a bit cliche in the end, but it works with the rest of the piece. Overall, great write. Will be sure to check out your other work.
