Forbidden Fruit

Forbidden Fruit

A Poem by Jeff

Where do we stand

After what we shared

After our time

Last night

Honestly

I'm unsure

What to do

With these obstacles

Your husband

Has to wonder

Where you were

What happened

You looked so beautiful

In my bed

This morning

What do we do

I loved the sounds

You made

The way we laid

The night we spent

Where do we go

From here

I have a thing for you

But you're married

. oh, this is the trickiest situations of all ... brilliantly written and expressed ... i sometimes think that between the two people ... especially if one is married and the other is not ... the responsibility lies with the married one ... my heart goes out to the married one if they're trapped in a bad marriage ... but it's really upto them to make the effort of getting out ...
