Tragic Karma

Tragic Karma

A Poem by Jeff

Wish for peace

Resort to violence

Pray for hope

Dwell on the hopeless

Give what you can

Take all that you see

Work harder

Fall behind

Save what you can

Lose it all in weeks

Ask for help

Met with silence

Strive for change

Bound by chains

Only good intentions

With bad decisions

.
. brutally beautiful, jeff ... and so true and so amazingly profound ... i sometimes feel that it's social conditioning that makes us feel bad even though we have good intentions ... we put too much stress on consequences ... when such a large part of those consequences are beyond our control ...
