Illusions

Illusions

A Poem by Jeff
"

Fighting through a new world we can't possibly understand.

"

All is an illusion

Tiny particles

Make up our existence

Our DNA code

Is invisible to our eyes

Sets of binary code

Connect us to strangers

Across the globe

How do we really know

What we see is real

Are we really who we say we are

How do we know

We've never spoken

Beyond this imaginary world

Of emails and messages

Are you really you

Am I really me

never a truer worder spoken..the internet has created a world were we can no longer trust what we see or read..many times have fallen into the trap of believing the hype..wiser now though..great work

Expressed extremely well..i have often thought on this..many a times i would confess i try and dismiss some people i meet online as just people online so that when the bond runs its expiry i could console myself with such, yet i can not deny that behind this screen the people who are typing out what they seek to express are people of flesh and heart. The first stanza is more universal..which can be told about the transient nature of all that is ..in real..the second para brings it down to more specific.
