Soul Traveling

Soul Traveling

A Poem by Jeff

I peer through time and space

It reveals years of yearning for you

Sitting from afar as you lived

Never revealing my feelings for you

Then one day I was lucky enough

To take possession of your heart

However I was not able to hold on to it

You took your wings and flew away

Now I search for the words

That would bring you home

I study ancient texts

For clues to open your heart

How lovely....ah Your soul gleams like a beacon at night, Jeff...
Oh how I yearn..how I long for the one that makes me whole
I had her once...for a moment brief
But she grew...she grew...and I ..I remained..
She flew, she flew like a bird of the skies
And I...I remained
Now I stand all alone on the shore
and wait ...
I wat thinking of ways to find her again
Can it...could it ever be so?
