Looking Forward

It's time to say...Goodbye

To the days of yesteryear

I've spent too many hours

Dreaming of what I had

Reliving old memories

Trying to touch old flames

Wasting what I have today

On what I lost yesterday

I've been running in place

While the sun creeps behind me

I'm in a race against time

That I've been standing still for

Today is the first day

I'll keep looking forward

Today and now forever

I'll leave the past where it lays
