A Kiss

A Kiss

A Poem by Jeff

I want to feel your lips against mine

And put my hands around your waistline

Pull you close to me

Kiss you deeply

Get lost in feelings

Two hurt beings

Forgetting the present

Enjoying our moment

Just the two of us

Fighting our darkness

the opening scene feels like a raging passion yet gentle enough to affect
the reader in sentimental ways. this poem is about its romantic ambience,
and the the soft images bring the words life with tone and feature.
the line" forgetting the present" shifts the intention from passive to stillness,
as in capturing the moment, beautiful poem here jeff, done classically.
