My MuseA Poem by JeffA poem about my lost Muse.I wonder if I'll keep writing you these poems Until the day I die Or until the day you return to my arms
I wonder if you think of me when you read them Do you lower your defenses Or do you keep yourself guarded
I hate not having my muse by my side Writing about missing her Instead of loving her
I must have been fooling myself Thinking you weren't the most beautiful woman I've ever laid my eyes upon
I wish I could have wrote you the sweetest words In the sweetest ways But I couldn't find them
I loved you from the moment I laid my eyes on you And then I swore I'd love you forever Until my dying day and beyond
It's horrible things have changed between us We have so much history That it kills me we don't feel the same as we did
If I could turn back the hands of time I'd turn them back to when we were happy When our love was all we needed
I'd keep you wrapped in my arms Staring into your blue eyes Holding in your smell of home
I'd write my muse a new poem Every week of the year Just to make her feel special
