A Poem by JVirgin5

Watching her leave is a blade to my side
She is the greatest nightmare that has ever cursed these bones
And with every glance and every utterance of my name I fall weaker and weaker.
She leaves me with nothing but the lingering redolence of roses
And a trembling mouth that aches for one last kiss.
I am consumed by her
I am incapable of removing her from my mind
She has become intertwined with my very bones and my flesh.
And at last
At last, I can look into the soul of another
I can see the infinite universe and recognize that every thing worth living for in this vast expanse
Rests softly in her eyes.
