Sonnet 33

Sonnet 33

A Poem by Jeff Miller

My fair lady you are my destiny

You own all my heart and my soul is yours

In a sea of people, you’re all I see

To see you I’d travel to distant shores.

I would search for you through any tempest

Hark! I would never stop searching for you,

Because ‘tis you that I cannot resist,

‘Cause you are my life’s one love that is true.

But, I would do anything to bring you joy,

I could do something rather alarming,

And you could find me under your employ,

Where I’ll always work to be Prince Charming.

Alas, I may be a foolish male

But you make my life a fairy tale.

"In a sea of people, you’re all I see" what an awesome feeling your wife must have, as i'm sure you dedicate these love sonnets to none other :)! Lovely, choice of words, so eloquent... gives a vintage feel! I love the ending, so romantic all in all!
