Sonnet 28

Sonnet 28

A Poem by Jeff Miller

There is something missing when you are gone

There are no sparks flying throughout the air

The brightest light seems dim, even at dawn

When you are gone nothing in life is fair.

Your love is my drug, it controls my mind,

And without your mighty, pure love I crash,

And your love, my drug, is the strongest kind,

Life without you is lightning with no flash.

But, soon, my love, I can see you again,

My heart is pounding faster and faster,

You can tell me stories of where you've been,

I can hear the sound of your laughter.

My Baby, I cannot wait to see you,

To hold you, and tell you that I love you.

Very nice, though I just realized that I've been reading these in reverse order.
