Sonnet 27

Sonnet 27

A Poem by Jeff Miller

There is nothing that can stop true love

There is no distance far enough away

There is nothing that can stop our love

There is nothing anyone could say.

Nothing could erase the taste of your kiss

Nothing could make me forget your fair face

In ev'ry absence 'tis you that I miss

Alas, our love could never be erased.

Baby, I love you with all my heart

And nothing could separate me from you,

There will not be a day we are apart,

You need me, and I will always need you.

Hush, let me kiss the lips of your sweet face

And let me feel the warmth of your embrace.
