Sonnet 9 (Shakespearean Style)

Sonnet 9 (Shakespearean Style)

A Poem by Jeff Miller

I start this sonnet with one question;

How should your express appreciation

To whom provided your education

The beginning of your inspiration?
Give them a card with their name upon it

That contains just a verbose lengthy note?

Perhaps you should write them their own sonnet?

Give a card with an inspiring quote?

Alas, I think not! Nothing is enough

For what they choose to share with the world

For their occupation is very tough

Since students keep their mentor’s toes curled.

  Always appreciate their great teachings

  And never quitting with hands out reaching!
