Septem Versus 2

This is a new style of poetry I developed, called "Septem Versus".

Ah, inspiration!

Mind's perspiration,

Thoughts float in your head

Even those you dread

They seem to haunt you

As you lay in bed.

Is true always true?

Author's Note

I created this new style of poetry when I was thinking about sonnets and how the 10 syllables and 14 lines are supposed to create a square. So I decided to try out 7 lines with 5 syllables with the rhyme scheme A-A-B-B-C-B-C. I call it "Septem Versus" because that means seven lines in latin.
