Waiting for the ThunderA Poem by Jeff MillerMy second poem directed at my crazy ex-girlfriend who is stalking me and my betrothed girlfriend.Things are falling asunder The lightning has struck Now I’m waiting for the thunder I wonder if I have any luck I feel like I am now living a life of burden So much drama, so many problems, so many issues This shan’t be excused with a pardon All I need is to be with you Let’s try to keep ignoring her She’s as nasty as chocolate milk That you haven’t had a chance to stir If she were a piece of clothing she wouldn’t be made of silk Nor cotton She would be lucky to be considered a reed Forsooth, she is rotten In society’s garden she is a weed She is an ignorant child With people she seems to have no education From our lives she has been exiled If life was a class she would be in remediation We know how wicked she is and of her evil ways So, let’s not let her destroy our fairy tale days © 2010 Jeff MillerAuthor's Note
